The Transportation Data Sampler is an introduction by the new Bureau of Transportation Statistics to the information resources in the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and allied agencies, and is a test of the CD- ROM technology.
It contains data bases and reports in a variety of spreadsheet, data base, and wordprocessing formats. No retrieval or browsing software is included on the disk. The sampler contains data from many parts of the Dept. of Transportation, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Interstate Commerce Commission, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
